“$BTC and Alts Thus far, price has largely played out as anticipated and in line with how I've positioned tactically. Nowadays, I use charts more as a compass to frame areas of interest. Execution itself comes down to reading flows, positioning and how participants respond at key inflection points. As for Bitcoin, keeping things relatively simple. The September 21 breakout origin around 81.7k fuelled by short liquidations saw price push into 87s. We've since rotated back into that area and tested it several times - (confluent with mondays lows) In a market showing genuine upside conviction, you'd generally expect buyers to defend that origin and establish acceptance higher. Repeated tests without meaningful upside displacement aren't particularly encouraging from a tactical perspective. Doesn't necessarily mean we break down, but it does raise questions about the underlying strength of demand.... For now, I'm positioned and hedged for potential downside continuation. Acceptance back above the 85s would have me reassess and begin rolling off the hedge. Equally, I'm interested in buying opportunities, but I'd want to see a shift in momentum, evidence of buyers stepping in with conviction and an ability to sustain higher prices.... Ultimately, no attachment to a directional bias. It's about recognising where the balance of control sits, how that changes and positioning accordingly. If looks like a range, trades like a range then it probably is a _ _ _ _ _ <insert missing word> Cheers”
“@htltimor the weekly... whats on your radar...”
“The StochRSI When an indicator remains overbought for weeks without convincing price expansion or high-volume continuation, I become increasingly cautious of downside risk... The indicator isn't actionable in isolation, but helps me determine when to be aggressive versus defensive... I generally use it as a mechanical oscillator along with htf supply and demand zones But ultimately - a trade strategy and its execution is what is more important. Bitcoin and various alts... exhibiting signs of the weekly stoch remaining overbought at the moment...”

“$ETH remains rotatational within Monday’s 100-point--ish range, rejecting the 1720s again. Very good intraday/intraweek conditions, but direction remains unresolved. 29s remain the more significant resistance above. Trade there and I’d expect BTC to revisit 86s. Until then, resistance is resistance at 1720s until proven otherwise. Let the liquidity games continue.”
“@canetorin eth next would be nice....”
“@FredWick7 Repeat of a similar period in 2025 seems to be on the cards ...”
“And that’s why I’ve never been a huge fan of rigid trading plans being shared ahead of time... Took the long above 2710s. Liquidations came in, with no passive support - the information changed, so I cut it. Price trading back under 2720... flipped short. You’re not going to get that from a signal service. Have scenarios mapped out ahead of time, understand the why behind them, then remain fluid enough to respond to the information the market actually generates.... cut and reverse drills...”
“$ETH I think we're approaching an area of interest around the local range highs, see the blue levels. Interested to see how price trades around Monday's high. If the right trigger develops, I'd be open to expressing a tactical short for a mean-reversion rotation over the coming weeks - if the trigger is there... Not necessarily a bearish view... simply trading location, structure and the opportunity in front of me. Spot remains largely unchanged - wanting to continue adding on meaningful pullbacks. That's ultimately why I'm comfortable shifting tactically through perps... I can trade both sides of the shorter-term auction without having to over-trade the broader macro spot positioning.”
“Was always likely to help fuel the move higher…. Let the liquidity games continue https://t.co/MAib7CDRfR https://t.co/Qh2TuB9wS9”
“Now if the shit hits the fan in Q4... and the market gets dragged down - consider it a gift of an entry tbh...”
