“@PeterSchiff I'd say thats a gift if it gets down there....”
“$BTC As someone who shorted 125 before a few days before 10/10 - having been extremely cautious for several weeks prior - and laid out my reasoning weeks in advance on public streams on YouTube... The recent surge in pessimism now that BTC is trading around 60k does not surprise me tbh. Some voices seem almost gleeful that their late bearish thesis has been “right” (what took you guys so long initially?) Though I suspect many never actually traded it. Armchair trading is comfortable when you have a large following with a mega subscription service...cool Putting the trade on is what matters and all I care about. For what it’s worth... the lower BTC goes... the more attractive it becomes from an asymmetric upside perspective. Much of the doom... I suspect... comes from those who held all the way down. For those in cash... opportunity is ahead... even if there may be a few more storms to weather ? Time capitulation ? Watch for signs of seller exhaustion... and perhaps the kind of jaw-dropping capitulation event many of us know all too well as far back as 2018... For me... it makes sense to start thinking ahead about buying levels... and execution strategy. I’ve never been interested in catching the exact bottom... nor am I a pure value investor... Having aggressively shorted the market down from the November 2021 highs... I wasn’t interested in catching the exact bottom, could argue I was rather too defensive at the lows (I was in the recession camp - lesson learnt - dont get too caught up in the macro... but we all get it wrong once in a while and learn from it. I may be slightly late again - hopefully not, but probably and I'm fine with that... just as I was in 2023 when I bought back in around 30k... despite having traded the 15k to 30k range for the best part of nine months and out performed btc during that period. The biggest gains come from upside trends... momentum, the meat of the move. Embrace the downside... if it continues.... thats future opportunity. And eventually... the next cycle begins...”
“@ag_dwf Could you help push it down there... Thanks”
“@Stoiiic Beauty of a H1 twap sell tbh”
“Indices - commods done well when you think about the fact how they’ve performed vs that of btc ath in 2021 was 69k… And here we are again…69/70k - 4.5 years later No doubt it goes much higher over the coming years - can’t complain about the volatility - hope it remains tbh.”
“$BTC April Monthly Value Area Low Traded 🎯 81.5 > 71.5 https://t.co/jGYgJnI6u9 https://t.co/dYYaS0s69C”
“@tradermatt 👊”
“$BTC Trading below the key level of 76s 2 week comp low once again. Both weekly and daily 12/25 ema bands exhibit sellers still continue to remain in control. When both are shaped this way, its generally the direction I want to flow with not against - until theres a meaningful push away from the bands into a key level, often confluent with a decent enough liquidation event. Some signs of aggressive buying on perps around these lows - but spot selling flow appears to be the dominant factor. 73.7s - previous month vwap 71s - previous months value area low Overall - I continue to remain short from 81.5s What gives...”
“@sue_xbt Brilliant Idea”
“$ETH Offloading my spot at the high 4k and switching into swing shorts was not a popular take… Here we are several months later and we’re starting to see eth doing the rounds again… Fascinated behaviour - everybody wanted it at the highs and here we are several months later… Save the long form these bullshit - put on a pair of momentum oscillators and moving averages - there will be a time to buy eth and momentum again - it’s honestly not that complicated”
“$BTC 76s two week compositive value area lows was key as mentioned previously with belief that we see an impulsive move lower towards monthly value area lows around 71. Sellers continue to remain in control since losing the current developing monthly VWAP. The daily profile shows continued bearish migration, as sellers defended the 76.2k–76.5k area overnight and drove price below daily value. As long as acceptance remains below the 76.5k resistance area, the auction is likely to continue lower barring any short covering rallies, targeting the single prints and inefficiency around 73k, confluent with previous months vwap. From an EMA 12/25 perspective price is below the HTF bands from the H4, Daily and Weekly. Overall thoughts: If it looks like a range, trades like a range then it probably is a range - with some good rotations to trade over the coming months - flowing with the overall shift in context is key. I'm remaining swing short from 81.5s and will look to trade the market on both sides from an intraweek perspective whilst letting the swing short play out until its time to shift context. Cheers”
“Poor lows traded... decent amount of selling being absorbed under the lows for now... https://t.co/wdqzHxxXet”
“$BTC Fairly contained price action between 76 - 78 with price having spent most of the time trading Mondays range. 76 remains a key level - confluent with May M/O H1, H4 12/25 EMA's still exhibit price weakness. A Daily 12/25 cross - not confirmed... but looking likely Fair chance price trades the set of poor lows established on Monday and Wednesday Still positioned short from 81.5s - with no reason to close out just yet - above the mid range would be a local shift in context - opening a move back towards the highs... Have a fab and blessed weekend all.”
“@trader1sz Happy Birthday my bro... Ill buy you some bitcoin much lower down.”
