🚨BREAKING: MSCI officially moves to remove Michael Saylor’s Strategy from its global indexes, starting November 30. MSCI will now treat companies like Strategy as “non-operating” and ineligible for its indexes. Strategy is on MSCI’s list of potential deletions, alongside Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet. The final list is due on November 11. JPMorgan previously estimated Strategy could face about $2.8 BILLION of selling if dropped from MSCI indexes.#Bitcoin / $BTC I still believe it's worth having cash sitting on the sidelines to max bid mid / late November. BTC has bottomed shortly after midterms (11/3) the last two bear markets. Strategy potentially getting removed from MSCI indexes for being a "non-operating company" is also a bigger deal than people are giving it credit for. JP Morgan estimated that exclusion from MSCI indexes could trigger ~$2.8 billion in passive sales for $MSTR. Which resurfaces the Strategy / MSTR / STRC fears from earlier this summer... Wanted to see $100K and new ATHs asap, but charts look weaker than I'd like and I think it's important to derisk while majors are still at a relatively strong spot.View original on X ↗

Only the end-of-horizon price counts. A brief move followed by a reversal is not a success. Read the methodology
