It's beyond stupid to expect STRC to die while encouraging people to buy BTC That's probably my main point about the MSTR criticism: if you want to be intellectually consistent, tell people that BTC is outright doomed until Saylor is greatly damaged, but thinking that somehow buying BTC is a good idea while MSTR will die in the years to come is just dumbThe fact so many people have been brainwashed to believe the success of Bitcoin is dependent on one man and one company is what's beyond stupid. I believe Strategy will continue to prioritize paying STRC dividends. They don't really have much of a choice. The issue is - they're forced to either sell equity (aka MSTR ATM) or sell Bitcoin to fund those payments + debt obligations in the next couple of years. With the recent Bitcoin purchases + cash raises, they've signaled their preferred route is diluting MSTR shareholders. And unfortunately there most likely will be a tethered selloff at some point, but that doesn't mean either Strategy or Bitcoin will die. Strategy will survive, but their cash raising vehicle will be impaired as they deal with rebuilding trust. Bitcoin will bounce back and print new highs like it always has. So yes, there easily can be a scenario where MSTR is significantly outperformed by BTC.View original on X ↗
Deterministic: the same prices and policy always give the same result
r = 63730.42 / 65047.02 − 1 = -2.02%d × r = -2.02% (neutral only if the price is unchanged) → incorrectOnly the end-of-horizon price counts. A brief move followed by a reversal is not a success. Read the methodology
