I think SOL is cooked in the sense that it has an association to only memes/gambling...and that certainly has its place when BTC gets back to risk on. I actually think SOL leads in that case because risk on = more gambling = more memes and speculation. And you're right, the chain itself is still the best user experience in crypto- cheap, fast, etc. But the overall defi infrastructure hasn't had a bid for years and is still lagging behind eth's despite it being a better chain (from a user experience standpoint)
